Hitting a record low dating back to April, 4,898 homes were sold in the Seattle Metro Area market over the last 30 days. This represents a 2.1% drop and comes on top of a seven-week steady downturn in sales activity. Leading the way in terms of contribution was King County with 2,656 sales. Potential buyers should note that prices are coming down in the Seattle Metro Area, and for this period the median sales price slid from $355,000 to $350,000. There are only two months of inventory available in the Seattle Metro Area, so it's still strong seller's market, even with the shrinking sales numbers.
